Common questions

Who's in a cohort with me?
Cohorts are composed of 8–12 working professionals at similar career stages. You might be in the same industry, or completely different — either way, the diversity of perspectives is one of the most valuable parts. All members have completed or are working through the MLI Leadership Assessment.
What happens in a typical session?
Each 90-minute session opens with a brief reflection round where members share progress on their commitments from the previous session. The facilitator then guides the group through a structured exercise — a real leadership challenge shared by a cohort member, a role-play scenario, or a peer coaching round. The session closes with each member setting new commitments.
How much time does it require outside of sessions?
Plan for roughly 1–2 hours per month: the 90-minute session plus time to practice what you committed to between sessions. The more you practice, the more value you'll extract — but we keep the time commitment realistic for busy professionals.
Can I join a cohort if I don't have a Professional or Premium plan?
Group cohort sessions are included with Professional ($199/mo) and Premium ($399/mo) plans. If you're on the Starter plan or a free account, you can sign up below to join a waitlist — we'll notify you when a cohort opens. Upgrade anytime to access cohorts immediately.
Can I switch cohorts or tracks mid-program?
If your professional situation changes mid-program (new role, new challenges), contact us and we'll work to find the right fit. Cohorts run for 6 months — continuity matters, but life happens.
Is what's shared in cohort confidential?
Yes. Cohort members agree to a confidentiality commitment at the start of the program. What's shared in your cohort stays in your cohort. The facilitator holds this boundary — it's what makes the conversations meaningful.
Do I need to have completed the assessment before joining?
Ideally yes — your facilitator uses your assessment results to tailor discussion topics to your cohort's growth edges. But if you're in the process of taking it or haven't started yet, you can still join. Just let us know your status in the signup form.
